About Elownce
With over 15 years of teaching experience, I support School, College, and working professional students in learning drums with excitement and clarity. My teaching style is friendly, motivational, and focused on helping students see real progress. I teach basic and advanced drumming techniques including grip, posture, rhythm reading, timing, coordination, and improvisation. Students also learn to break down songs, practice effectively, and explore different musical genres.
I teach subjects like rhythm theory, ear development, music basics, and performance confidence. These help students grow beyond drumming and understand music more completely. My unique strength is creating lessons that are both structured and fun. I use step-by-step methods, creative drills, and real music examples to keep students engaged. My aim is to help every learner become a confident and expressive drummer.

My drum teaching methodology is built on Communication, Creativity, and Flexibility. I believe clear communication is the starting point for all learning. I talk with students about their goals and explain the steps needed to achieve them. I keep my instructions simple and check frequently if the student understands the concept. This prevents confusion and builds confidence.
Creativity brings energy into my lessons. Drumming is an art that allows endless expression, and I encourage students to explore this freedom. I include creative rhythm tasks, groove-writing, improvisation drills, and experimentation with tempo changes. Students also play along with music from different genres to understand real-life rhythm application. Creative exercises help students think musically and develop their own drumming style.
Flexibility ensures that the learning process is comfortable and effective. I adjust the pace, exercises, and level based on the student’s progress. If a skill is too challenging, I break it down. If it is too easy, I add variations or introduce new material. I also use different teaching methods—visual demonstration, verbal explanation, or hands-on practice—based on what works best for the student.
In addition to drums, I teach rhythm fundamentals and basic theory. My goal is to help students build a solid music foundation and become confident drummers who enjoy the learning journey.
