About Faye
I am a dedicated piano tutor with 11 years of teaching and professional experience in music education. I teach piano to school and college students, supporting them in developing skill, confidence, and a love for music.
A highlight of my career has been helping students grow from beginners to confident performers, which is deeply rewarding. I focus on fundamentals, proper technique, rhythm, and musical expression, while also fostering creativity.
My teaching approach is structured, patient, and encouraging, with the goal of inspiring students to enjoy piano and carry their love for music throughout life.

My piano teaching methodology focuses on consistent and enjoyable progress using motivation, communication, integrity, and creativity. I plan lessons that are structured yet flexible, helping students learn comfortably at their own pace. Motivation is built through regular encouragement
and clear learning goals. Communication is simple and supportive, with explanations and demonstrations that improve understanding. Integrity guides my teaching as I emphasise correct technique, posture, rhythm control, and disciplined practice.
Creativity is encouraged through expressive playing, experimenting with different styles, and simple improvisation. Along with piano lessons, I also teach music theory, scales, chords, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, ear training, and basic music composition.
