About Kim
I'm Kim, 32 years young and enjoying live in Amsterdam. I would describe myself as enthusiastic, eager to learn, creative, curious, and open-minded. That's the attitude I liketo adopt in a dynamic life full ofchallenges for growth and self-development. I consider my empathetic ability as my strength, along with my capacity to adapt to my surroundings. It ensures that I am always observing, analyzing, reflecting, and learning.I enjoy being challenged in my creativity, both in my work and personal life. And perhaps most importantly, I love people. That's why I enjoy working with people, so that we can inspire, motivate and strengthen each other.
I am confident that my interest in education (I have invested significant time in studying it and am particularly interested in educational development - and how it can be improved in my view), combined with my leadership and coaching skills, will position me well to make a valuable contribution!

I strongly believe in the power of coaching to inspire individuals and help them reach their full potential. I encourage people to think independently, take initiative, and continuously improve their skills. Autonomy, Purpose, and Mastery are the key intrinsic values I consider essential for helping individuals progress. As a language teacher, I am committed to assisting students in developing these skills and supporting their integration into Dutch society. Effective communication, organisational skills, and the ability to respond to the needs of others are most important to me. These skills are invaluable when it comes to teaching and guiding students. I am capable of creating an inclusive and supportive environment.
Before start I create a tailored plan based on your needs and skills (which we discussed in our first meeting). I believe in the effectiveness of visual learning, so I'll extensively use PowerPoint presentations. Following your learning path, we'll cover the course material. I'll assign homework for discussion, and after each lesson, we'll have a brief feedback session.
I teach students with little to no experience in the Dutch language (B1/B2 level). Are you motivated? If so, I'll ensure you stay that way!
