Naima and I went to undergrad together, so I witnessed her in an academic environment for four years. Naima is an incredibly competent tutor for many reasons: she is knowledgable, a great communicator, and energetic. To elaborate on these reasons: not only does she know the material (just for starters she is a double major in neuroscience and public policy, she has worked in multiple labs over the years, etc.), she is also great at explaining that material. If you don't understand something, she'll figure out a different way to explain it and work with you until you do comprehend it. She will also keep learning fun with her energetic and optimistic personality. There will never be a dull moment and you'll learn lots!
