About Rowanne
I have only just started this tutoring profile but I hope my knowledge and academic experience will help students come to me for help.
I achieved an A at A-level Psychology, and a First at University in BSc Psychology, where my topics of interest are mental health, clinical psychology, and addiction. I am in the process of gaining work experience to study to be a Clinical Psychologist in the future, and currently I am a Harm Reduction worker for a Drug and Alcohol service.
I think I am a great listener that can explain hard to understand information well and slowly so students can really learn. I also did A-Level Maths and achieved an A so I can help with the statistics side of Psychology too.

I have several years experience learning psychology and working in a related field so I will do whatever I can to help students understand topics they are unsure of.
I will give tips for: essay writing, report writing, statistical psychology, presentation and time management skills that you can transfer beyond academia.I will work with you one to one, explaining anything you are unsure of so you understand the content not just for exams but for yourself. I will help you remember psychologists names, dates studies were published, statistics from studies such as number of participants, and other research questions. As I achieved a grade A in A-Level Maths, including a module in statistics, and having studied psychology statistics at university I am confident I can support students with the mathematical side of psychology if that is not their strong suit.
I am able to help students follow the marking scheme to ensure their exam answers hit all of the points to gain top marks. I can also help with presentations and give organisational tips to help with studying, exams or general life.
