Having worked with Hector in the past, he is both kind and knowledgeable in equal measure, and has a knack for getting the best out of his students with his comprehensive and personalised approach to teaching. Hector is a wonderfully detailed instructor, sure to encourage and guide students through technical vocal and performance training.

I met Hector in university, and apart from being an incredibly kind and generous man, he has always been one of, if not the most, musically talented person in every cast that I've been in with him! I remember once in a rehearsal for Dogfight, the voice teacher couldn’t make it in, and Hector instantly stepped up and took charge, and those harmonies never sounded so good! He is a great communicator and so easy to work with and learn from, and I could not recommend him more!

Hector turned an ambitious and at times intimidating show into some of the most fun I’ve ever had. Endlessly friendly, patient and creative in his teaching style, I would absolutely love to work with him again.
He has a brilliant ear for all things music, but also all things people. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better vocal coach.

Hector is the most kind, caring and patient singing teacher out there! During a show process where we only had 48 hours to learn the score, he was very patient and thorough with not only ensuring I was singing the correct notes, but that I was confident doing so and blending with those around me. He kept it fun and engaging whilst being proficient and specific. I look forward to doing more with him!
