About Paul
I am a Drama and English Literature student at Edge Hill University. I received grades 6-9 at GCSE and grades ABC at A-level. I am really passionate about the subjects I learn about and at the end of my course I plan to do a PGCE in order to teach full time in secondary education.
I have also done work experience in a high school so I am fully DBS checked.

My lessons are aimed for anybody! Everyone has the right to learn and not be ashamed of anything. So if you are struggling with your work or simply want to spend more time on your favourite subject, I am the person for you.
My lessons will follow a simple structure. I will teach about a certain topic while taking questions throughout. After this, I will test student's understanding of the information via a range of different methods. Then we will discuss 1:1 or as a group, our thought and opinions of the lesson and whether or not things made sense, whether the lesson was enjoyed and what needs revisiting.
It is my firm belief that learning should be challenging yet engaging. I think discussion and tutor feedback is key in order to allow the student to progress. I am here for the student, they are NOT there for me, as a result, it is my soul responsibility to make sure I am working at my student's expectations in order to get them the grades they desire.
