About Fernando
My experience is based on giving classes for 8 years to Spanish students of all ages. I have also taught, during my stay in the USA, the Spanish language to Americans. For professional reasons, having a student exchange program, I travel to the US several times a year, so I still have a direct contact with the language. I have dual nationality, Spanish and American. At the age of 16, I went to the US to finish High School, continuing my studies with a scholarship for tennis at Michigan State University. After that, I started my professional career, staying there for 21 years.

My teaching method is based on adapting the classes to the needs of each student, making a prior evaluation of each one. My strong point is to make the student maintain a fluid communication, develop the ear and lose the fear of speaking. With children the classes are oriented to learn with games and in a fun way without feeling the effort of learning. With adolescents and adults, the classes are based on linking theory with practice, but always with the philosophy of learning in a pleasant, open and simple way, making sure that there is a fluid communication between both parties in order to achieve the objectives set. I can focus as well on English adapted to professionals who have to travel to the US, focusing on the vocabulary necessary for their business.
