About Silvi
I am currently a junior at the University of South Carolina majoring in psychology and biology on a pre-med track. I have taken countless biology and psychology classes during my time at school, and I now even tutor in those subjects.
Additionally, I also currently tutor on another platform whenever I have the time, and I work as a medical scribe. From my previous experiences working with both students and parents, I have learned to adapt my teaching style based on each individual I work with.

I have tutored for a little over 5 years now, and I have taught all ages from elementary to high school-aged students. Recently, I have started tutoring college students as well.
I have developed and adapted my teaching style to cater to the student I am working with.
My approach to teaching is letting the student decide what they need to focus on, and instead of directly telling them what to do, I like to guide them in the right direction so they can express their ideas and creativity through their work.
A typical lesson would start off with introductions and a discussion of the work that needs to be done in the first few minutes. Then, we jump straight into doing the work and do it in the order of easiest to hardest. Typically, most lessons I hold are an hour long.Not every student is the same, so they need different methods of teaching to help them out.
