About Chiara
Hi there! I completed the IB Diploma with a perfect score of 45/45, including 7 in Maths SL (equivalent of Maths AA now). I then went on to study Human, Social, and Political Sciences at the University of Cambridge. I graduated with a Double First-Class degree and was elected a King’s Scholar in recognition of my academic achievements. After graduating, I worked as an International School Marketing Associate at Lanterna Education, delivering in-person presentations to over 4,000 IB students across 50 schools in Europe. Alongside my work and studies, I have spent over eight years tutoring students from a wide range of backgrounds and age groups. I’ve supported International Baccalaureate students in subjects including Maths, Geography, English, Spanish, Film, Theory of Knowledge, and the Extended Essay. I have also tutored A levels Maths, Sociology, and English students as well as undergraduate students in Sociology, Social Anthropology, and other Humanities subjects. Finally, I have successfully coached students through all stages of the Oxbridge application process, including admissions assessments, personal statement writing, and interview preparation.

Whether you’re preparing for university, studying Maths A-level, or simply looking to deepen your interest in Maths, I’ll meet you where you are and help you move forward with clarity and enthusiasm. For university applicants, particularly those applying to Oxbridge, I offer specialised support with personal statements, interview preparation, and admissions assessments. I also help students identify the topics they’re genuinely passionate about, and encourage them to explore these areas in more depth, developing their independent thinking along the way. I tutor students of all ages in Maths A level, IB Maths (AA SL, AI HL and AI SL), Sociology, Social Anthropology, Geography, English, and Spanish (IB, A level, and undergraduate level), as well as essay writing and university admissions. Lessons are typically 1 hour long.

I honestly couldn’t recommend Chiara more highly. I was struggling with some of the more abstract concepts in A-level Sociology, especially social theory, and Chiara made everything so much clearer. She broke things down in a way that actually made sense and helped me see how different theories connect to real-life examples and case studies.
