About Sarah
I am a lifelong learner in my chosen career path and constantly need to read, practice, and challenge myself to stay on top of my field. I believe I can teach not only a specific topic, but provide learners with a toolkit to continue to learn on their own after they have moved on from our sessions. I enjoy getting to know my students and building a rapport as we work together.

I believe in an individualized approach to teaching and meeting students where they are at. My goal as a tutor is not only to teach the selected topic but provide a framework for the student to go on to develop their own educational plans as they continue on in their academic endeavors. My hope is that my students may eventually not need a tutor as they become more comfortable with understanding their learning style and how to approach a difficult subject. I am comfortable working with learners from the middle school to post graduate level. I work full time as as a physician and educator, but I tutor as I love (and miss) working one on one with learners.
