I have my PhD because I love being a student of math. I think school should be fun and not intimidating which is how I approach our time. I like to model a problem and then discuss it with my student. I encourage conversation to promote understanding. I use this conversation to find out where the problem really begins and fix gaps to make things easier. I like to also leave my students with several strong examples with notes to have as references
