About ANISA ANJUM
I am writing to express my strong interest in teaching subjects within domine of Food Science and Technology and Agriculture. I have doctorate degree in Food Science and Technology (7.92/10 OGPA) as well as experience as Assistant Professor (Food Technology) in a reputed university. I completed my Bachelor and Master of Science degree in Agriculture from reputed universities in India. My field of specialization at masters was Post harvest Technology of Horticultural crops.
I have attended several conferences and seminars.
I have several research and review paper published in my name in various journal.
I had been working as Assistant Professor since one and half year at Islamic University of Science and Technology. In this role, I was responsible for teaching and research work. I also want to bring in your kind notice that I was Supervisor of one master (M.Sc. Food Science & Technology) student for her research work. With these skills and qualifications, I believe I would be a good addition for any university.

As a teacher, I am continually learning new ways to teach my students about subject. I love sharing with my students my love for subject and I try to impress upon them why we study the food science and technology and what information it provides us with as a result. I feel it is important to be honest and approachable as an instructor. I encourage students to ask questions and if I don’t know the answer to a question, we find it together and we learn something in the process. Instructing non-majors presented a different mode of teaching and as a result, I molded my lessons to what they would identify with and what information they should retain (for more than just a week). I enjoy interacting with students from every discipline, and relating what they learn to their future, in both their career and life. As long as they understand the lessons and get the point of the lab, I have done what I set out to accomplish. One way to deepen student’s understanding is to develop collaborative projects that give each student a clear role and set of responsibilities.
