About Kenzie
I am currently a doctoral student at Claremont Graduate University, entering the dissertation writing phase of my doctoral journey. I hold a Master's in Public Policy from Liberty University and a Master's in Politics from Claremont Graduate University. With about three years of tutoring experience, primarily on Wyzant, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my teaching. Additionally, I have practical experience working on a political campaign and in a policy office.

I tailor my lesson plans based on the specific information and needs you provide. My approach focuses on identifying the areas where you need the most help and creating customized notes and slides to address these needs. Whether through discussion, lecturing, or visualizations, I adapt my teaching method to suit your learning style.
To achieve this, I typically start with the basics, ensuring you have a solid foundation before progressing to more complex topics. I appreciate when students inform me of their specific areas of difficulty, as this allows me to create personalized slides and examples that are most relevant to their needs. A typical lesson plan includes a quick review of the needs of the student at the beginning, followed by a review of the information, either through slides, explanations, or discussion. I generally finish the lesson with another review and discussion of any other information as needed, though I usually change the lesson plan based on student needs, especially if those needs are regarding research or papers.
My primary focus is on helping college students at any level, though I also teach high school students from time to time. By leveraging my experience and tailored lesson plans, I aim to provide effective and engaging learning experiences.
