About Mabel
Hi! I am a Doctoral nursing student concentrating in family medicine. I am currently working as a critical care nurse and am interested in helping students study for nursing related topics.
I like to teach by question and answer remediation, videos, teach back method, and by using reliable databases as well as research articles. What sets me apart from other tutors is that I am a doctoral nursing student and have experience in nursing, critical care, surgery, and also research. I have 7 years of experience in nursing and graduate with my DNP in May 2025.
I'm a 32 y.o. mother of 2 so my time management skills are very important. Surgical ICU nurse with CVSD experience as well as PACU. ANA member. I have seen multiple surgeries and am most experienced with ENT surgeries such as bilateral neck dissections. 5.5 years of critical care nursing experience. Passion to help others learn. Currently studying Family Nurse Practitioner. I am also an A2 Spanish speaker.
