About Alexandra
Hi! My name is Alex, and I'm a Registered Nurse currently pursuing my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health. Throughout nursing school and graduate school, I've learned that some of the best understanding comes from breaking complex topics into simple, manageable pieces.
As a student myself, I understand how overwhelming nursing school can feel. I know what it's like to balance classes, clinicals, exams, and assignments, and I enjoy helping others work through difficult concepts in a supportive, judgment-free environment.
My goal isn't just to help you memorize information for your next exam—it's to help you understand the material so you can apply it with confidence. Whether you need help reviewing lecture content, preparing for an exam, improving your APA writing, or strengthening your clinical reasoning, I'm here to help you build confidence one step at a time.
I believe honesty is an important part of learning. If a topic is outside my area of expertise, I'll tell you and help guide you toward the appropriate resources rather than guessing. My goal is to provide accurate, thoughtful support and help you become a more confident, independent learner.

Nursing school can be challenging, and I know firsthand how overwhelming it can feel. As a Registered Nurse and Doctor of Nursing Practice student specializing in Psychiatric Mental Health, I understand what it's like to work through difficult concepts while balancing classes, clinicals, and life outside of school.
My goal is to help students better understand nursing concepts by breaking them down into manageable pieces and creating a supportive environment where questions are encouraged. I enjoy working through topics step by step and helping students build confidence in their own understanding rather than simply memorizing information.
I offer tutoring in nursing, psychiatric nursing, nursing pharmacology, health sciences, introductory biology, and APA writing. Whether you're preparing for an exam, reviewing lecture material, or working on a paper, I'll meet you where you are and help you develop strategies to approach the material with confidence.
