About Aluísio
Aluísio Coelho is one of the most prominent guitarists and composers of his generation. His music attempts to translate life experiences and archetypes into a process of intertextual composition. He combines various types of musical styles to create his own musical perceptive - like jazz, post-minimalist music, MPB, experimental music, electronic music, among others. Aluísio holds a bachelor's degree in guitar from the School of Music and Fine Arts of Paraná, a master's degree in composition from the Federal University of Paraná and a PhD in performance from the Université de Montréal (Canada).

I. Lesson Plan: Guitar Lesson II. Theme: - Technical and interpretative fundamentals in guitar. - Basic concept: To address basic technical guitar issues with reference to Abel Carlevaro's guitar school. In addition, to address questions regarding the interpretation according to aesthetic, stylistic and formal elements around the work presented by the student. III. Objectives: General objective: To propose some technical and interpretative solutions to the student, aiming at a better execution of the presented work as a whole. Specific objectives: 1. Present improvements to the student's posture, if applicable. 2. Elucidate left and right hand technical issues, applied to music. 3. Present concepts related to historical context, form, harmony, counterpoint, etc., according to the work presented. 4. Define some minor concepts such as articulation, breathing, phrasing, dynamics, creativity, etc., according to the work presented. 5. Propose extra-class activities such as technical exercises, reading texts, listening to works, etc. IV. Content: 1. Posture. 2. Left and right hand applied technique. 3. Historical context, form and style. 4. General interpretation of the work: articulation, breathing, phrasing, dynamics, creativity, etc. V. Development of the theme: The development of the theme will be related to the technical and interpretative level of the student, depending also on the work that will be presented. According to a previous evaluation of the student, when performing the work, will be approached content presented in greater or less depth, thus adapting the development according to the profile of the student.
