About Iowan
I am a medical doctor, currently working at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge. I have a passion for teaching and education and have organised and delivered teaching throughout my academic career. I graduated from King's College London with a degree in Biomedical Science in 2016, then began my medical degree at the University of Bristol later that year, graduating with Honours.

I offer friendly and accessible tutoring for anyone applying to a UK medical school or for those taking the MSRA to apply for UK specialist training. I also offer tutoring for those already at medical school in preparation for their written exams and OSCEs. I am very flexible in my approach to tutoring, and lessons will be tailored to your needs, focusing on areas in which you need most support. Things I can support with: - Guidance with personal statements - I will provide honest and detailed feedback to help your statement stand out from the rest - Interview coaching – MMI & panel-style sessions, with dynamic feedback and tips - Application advice – demystifying the process: choosing unis, managing timelines, and what to expect - OSCE practice - online or face to face I am an NHS doctor with more than two years' experience, as well as two UK degrees, so have a deep understanding of the UK higher education system, exam technique and what it takes to get into medicine and through the degree. My teaching style is dynamic, friendly and encouraging, focused around highly interactive sessions and constructive feedback.
