About Natalie
Hello and welcome! I’m Natalie Rowan, and I’m passionate about turning Biology into a subject students can understand, discuss, and truly enjoy! I am based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and I graduated from Drexel University with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a concentration in Molecular Biology! I have 8 years of tutoring experience working with K-12 students and early College learners! My academic preparation includes Cellular Biology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Physiology, Biotechnology, and human biology! I have helped students with school examinations, science fairs, laboratory assignments, research projects, and challenging Biology coursework! I became especially interested in visual teaching because many biological processes become much clearer when students can see how each stage connects to the next! I use diagrams, models, scientific examples, and questions to encourage students to reason through processes rather than memorize isolated information! I also enjoy helping students connect Biology with medicine, nutrition, healthcare, environmental science, genetics, and modern technology! My teaching style is friendly and motivating, and I aim to help students become confident enough to ask deeper scientific questions!

Welcome to my Biology lessons! I provide comprehensive, personalized support for Junior School, Middle School, High School, and early College students, with every lesson matched to their curriculum, interests, academic level, and examination goals! Younger learners can explore plants, animals, habitats, food chains, cells, nutrition, and basic human systems through colorful visuals, simple observations, stories, and interactive questions! Middle School students can develop a stronger understanding of cell structure, reproduction, heredity, ecosystems, microorganisms, and human health while building accurate scientific vocabulary! High School learners can receive detailed support in Cellular Biology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Physiology, Pathophysiology, and Biotechnology! I use family inheritance patterns to make Genetics relatable, sports and exercise to illustrate Physiology, infectious diseases to introduce Microbiology and Pathophysiology, and genetic technologies to explore Biotechnology! Each learner receives a personalized roadmap that balances concept learning, revision, assignment assistance, project guidance, and examination preparation! I help students organize research, interpret scientific diagrams, prepare presentations, analyze biological data, and communicate conclusions clearly! Examination preparation includes active recall, diagram labeling, case studies, data interpretation, application questions, and timed practice! Interactive activities encourage students to compare biological systems, predict outcomes, explain processes, and connect topics across chapters! I regularly review progress and adjust lesson content so students receive extra attention where it will make the greatest difference! My goal is to help learners become confident young scientists who understand the connections between molecules, cells, organisms, and the environment!
