About Nathaniel
I am a drummer for the National Youth Jazz Collective and the Oxfordshire Youth Jazz Collective, and have experience playing in many live venues including the Fleur de Lys Jazz Festival and the Birmingham Symphony Hall. I will be studying at the Guildhall School of Music next year to pursue a career as a jazz drummer, and I am currently studying Music, Maths and Further Maths A-level at sixth form. Hoping to inspire the next great drummers!

As a drummer, there is a great freedom to how you play a song, in all styles of music, and you have a lot of control over the feel of a tune. Therefore the lessons will be up to you in terms of what you want to cover, although I will provide technical advice for any styles. I have completed all the drum grades 1-8, and a diploma, so I can also provide lots of guidance if grades are what you would like to pursue. Teaching can be practical, or more conversational, or a mix of both!

He always works hard and would be a very engaging tutor who is passionate about music and maths. He has learnt a lot through d years of practising that he would be able to transfer across these skills to his students. He is kind and helpful and good at explaining things clearly so would make a great tutor :)
Nathaniel is great when explaining completed problems in school he makes sure to break it down and keeps it simple until I am ready to learn more, he is very kind and polite and is overall a great person

Nathaniel is an excellent 17 year old maths student who is predicted to achieve an A* in both his Maths and Further Maths A levels. He has experience tutoring peers and has experience working with children in a play centre.
