My goal is to become a qualified primary school teacher, and I’m passionate about helping young learners build strong foundations in math. I’m a friendly, patient, and approachable tutor who understands that every student learns differently. I begin with real-life examples and physical or visual aids (e.g. number blocks, diagrams, stories) before moving into abstract numbers and symbols. I encourage students to talk through their thinking, ask questions, and explore multiple ways of solving problems.
I break down problems into manageable steps and gradually reduce help as the student becomes more independent. I celebrate effort and progress to keep motivation high. For younger learners, I use math games, puzzles, and storytelling to make lessons enjoyable.
Sessions: 30 to 60 minutes each.
