Hi! I'm Mohd Arsh, a passionate English tutor with a diploma in English Language and Literature. While I'm currently working toward my higher secondary certification, I've already spent time in the classroom helping others. I truly believe that clear communication—both written and spoken—is the most valuable skill anyone can have. I want to share my knowledge because there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a student's confidence soar when a challenging grammar rule finally clicks, or when they write an essay they're genuinely proud of. About the Class: My Teaching Philosophy
As a student myself, currently tackling my higher secondary certification, I get it. I truly understand the struggle many people have with reading, writing, and simply getting English grammar and literature. It’s not just a subject; it’s a hurdle.
But thanks to my diploma in English and my direct experience tutoring, I don't just sympathize—I can pinpoint the common roadblocks and build a custom-made teaching path to get past them. My focus is always on making sure the material actually sticks through real-world practice and skill-building.
How We Learn Together (Techniques & Structure)
My classes are always interactive—we won't just stare at a textbook! My main technique is the Socratic method: I’ll ask questions that make you really think about the material, not just memorize it. We’ll do a lot of short, focused writing challenges and use actual texts (like recent articles or engaging short stories) to make every lesson immediately relevant.
A typical session is clear and simple:
We start with a quick "Grammar Tune-Up" (5 minutes) to review a core concept.
Then, we dive into the Main Lesson.
We finish with an "Application Challenge" (15 minutes) where you get to use your new knowledge immediately.
Why My Class is Different
My special feature is that I teach the student in front of me, not just the curriculum. I don't follow a rigid script; I'm excellent at quickly spotting your personal learning gaps and adjusting the lesson on the fly to fill them. My goal isn't just to help you pass a test, it’s to make you confident.
