About Marco
Hello! First and foremost, I want to thank you for giving me the opportunity to help you improve your workflow and expand your knowledge and approach to 3D art. Learning the right way from the start is always beneficial, as it helps avoid developing bad habits that can be difficult to correct later in your career.
I’ve been in the video game industry for 10 years and worked as a digital media artist for several years before that. I began taking on freelance work involving Autodesk Maya, which eventually led to my career in the game industry as a contractor at EA Tiburon (NBA Live, Madden). I later had the opportunity to work as a full-time Character Artist at Deep Silver Volition for five years (Saints Row). I now work full-time as a freelance multimedia and digital character artist focused on physical print.
My goal is to share my experience while helping streamline your workflow so you use only the tools necessary for the project you’re working on. Modern applications can be quite complex, but rest assured—you won’t need to use every tool they offer. This focused approach will help you feel more comfortable and confident as you learn digital modeling and sculpting.

We all know art school is a great place not only to learn from professionals, but from your peers as well. With the soaring costs of tuition, online platforms such as YouTube, Udemy, and countless other educational websites can be greatly beneficial for anyone who wants to learn without taking on massive debt.
My goal is to supplement what you learn online (or at school) with one-on-one tutoring and help you learn faster by teaching the hotkeys and shortcuts needed to keep pace, while also helping you become more efficient and make better use of your practice time so you can focus on what really matters: art.
My program will focus on Zbrush and 3D modelling (Blender or Maya) and structured around what YOU want to learn. I currently specialize in characters for print, but if you want to learn about modelling for games or high-resolution animation, we can cover that as well. If you're a flat-out beginner still on the fence about beginning any program, I can teach you the basics and help navigate the Digital Production seas!
