About Nicolas
Passionate about IT and cybersecurity for many years, I started out as a self-taught learner before turning my passion into my profession.
For almost eight years now, I've worked as a cybersecurity analyst, an experience that has given me a deep understanding of the real threats individuals face daily, as well as the concrete solutions for protecting themselves.
This self-taught background is also an asset for teaching: I know what it's like to learn on your own, to experiment and progress step by step, and I use this experience to impart clear, accessible, and, above all, immediately applicable knowledge to my students.
My approach is primarily practical and human: I start with each individual's needs and concerns to create a customized learning plan, free of unnecessary technical jargon. Whether you simply want to secure your online accounts or move towards true digital autonomy, I adapt to your pace and objectives.

Take back control of your digital life. No need to be a computer expert: my courses are suitable for all levels, and specifically designed for beginners who want to understand and take concrete action, without unnecessary jargon.
Why take this course? With SMS scams, fraudulent calls, and phishing emails on the rise, it's essential to recognize threats and develop good habits. My goal: to empower you and make you feel confident and secure in the face of everyday digital risks.
What I can teach you: Best practices for creating accounts and managing passwords: Create strong and unique passwords, use a password manager, set up two-factor authentication (2FA), and avoid the most common mistakes when creating your online accounts. Protecting personal data: Understand what information circulates about you, limit your exposure, and secure your accounts.
Defense against scams and attacks: Identify phishing attempts, fraudulent calls, or phishing SMS messages, and react in case of a breach. Secure browsing: Using VPNs, Tor, and proxies: understand the differences and choose the solution best suited to your needs. Software security: Choosing reliable antivirus software, verifying software integrity (hash), identifying secure sources, managing updates, and setting up backups and rollback solutions in case of problems.
Digital independence: For the more curious: an introduction to home labs and self-hosting your data and services, to regain control of your digital ecosystem.
