About Ashley
I am a certified special education teacher (Grades K-12), English teacher (Grades 6-12), and elementary teacher (Grades 1-6). With well over a decade of experience in the classroom I have a vast knowledge and understanding of what works best in terms of fostering growth for each student both academically, socially, and emotionally. Each and every student is unique and learn in their own individual way. As their teacher, this is one of the most essential understandings and imperative to identify how to best tailor my lesson to the individual student that I am working with. Moreso, I have found that without the foundation of respect and the ability to connect with each student on a personal level, it hinders the full potential and growth of a student. Therefore, it is my goal to first and foremost establish this relationship and understanding of respect with each child I work with.
