About Bruno
Over the past 9 years, I have helped countless school and college students discover the joy of learning guitar. Music has the power to bring people together, foster creativity, and boost self-confidence, and I feel fortunate to be a part of that process. Every student I teach is different, and I tailor my lessons to suit their individual goals and learning styles. Whether students are interested in learning their favourite songs, diving into music theory, or experimenting with different genres, my lessons are designed to inspire and challenge them. One of the most memorable moments in my career was helping a group of students form a band, and watching them perform at local festivals. Seeing them progress from beginners to accomplished performers was incredibly rewarding, and it reinforced the power of music to bring about personal growth. It’s amazing to see how learning the guitar can not only improve technical skills but also help students become more focused, disciplined, and self-assured. Whether I’m helping students prepare for a performance or guiding them through their first song, I am always motivated by their progress and the joy they experience as they unlock their musical potential. Guitar has a way of transforming lives, and I am proud to be a part of that journey for so many students.

Guitar instruction is a deeply personal experience, and with over nine years of teaching and a Bachelor’s in Music Education, I understand the importance of tailoring each lesson to the individual student’s goals and interests. My approach focuses on building a solid foundation of technical skills, including finger strength, rhythm, and posture, which serve as the groundwork for all styles of playing. From there, lessons are customised to meet the student’s musical aspirations, whether they want to learn popular songs, dive into classical guitar, or experiment with contemporary styles like blues or jazz. I aim to make theory an accessible and engaging part of the learning process, helping students understand how chords, scales, and intervals work in real music. For those interested in songwriting, I offer exercises to unlock creativity and develop their musical voice. My goal is to inspire students to find joy in both playing and composing. For performance-focused learners, I provide strategies for overcoming stage fright and refining their presentation. I also integrate technology into my lessons to keep students engaged, using online tools and apps to help them practise more effectively and track their progress outside of lessons.
