About Kim Soo (Etienne)

I am mostly self-taught. I am also more successful than other EF/SR coaches.

Clients say I am engaging, resourceful, creative, patient, and empathetic. However, I think my real gift is in being able to find the sweet spot for each individual between the skills of Executive Functioning, and emotional Self-Regulation.

In 2012 I did a 3-month training at the NYU Child Study Center in Executive Functioning for ADHD students.

Since that time, I have been reading, watching, taking seminars, and teaching in order to help those with learning differences. It is my primary drive in life to help others learn.

My approach combines neural training with emotional regulation. My successes and failures with students have shown me that this is the best approach.

On occasion, I get a student who has had months of EF coaching with someone else, and I find that where other coaches fail is in their focus on Executive Function and their *exclusion* of Self-Regulation skills.

Thank you for your time.

In these lessons, we build the interrelated skills of working memory, mental flexibility, and self-control. Using scientifically proven and well documented tools.

We also explore - and honor - your limits and feelings. Learning to work within your 'window of tolerance' is the best way to train neural adaptation, and become a more independent and happy learner.

My clients are as young as 10, and my adult clients include those working on MBA's, starting second careers, or stalled in their current career.
