About Karan
I grew up learning from many different kinds of maths and physics teachers throughout my school life. Over this time, I have picked up techniques and methods from all my teachers and mentors and have figured out what works and does not work for a student as I have been there myself. I try to teach concepts more intuitively and ensure that students grasp the concept fully before moving onto the next one in order to build a solid foundation. I also make sure that I keep going back to concepts that were taught in the past. I love teaching students that are goal-oriented, and want to improve each lesson. This makes me invested in your journey as a student and as motivated as you are in order to help you achieve your goals.

I believe that with a structured approach and basic logic, anybody can do physics and maths. I have taught many students in the past ranging from Year 8 to Year 13 over the past couple of years since starting my studies at Imperial College London. I like to think of the duration of my lessons to be the time taken to understand one concept completely, which ranges between 1 to 1.5 hours. I belive that beyond this it is difficult to take in more information. In my lessons I also like to employ logical riddles for e.g. the survivorship bias, which helps students develop critial thinking. I can also teach guitar (mainly electric) , and have been playing since the age of 11, (I am almost 21 now, so nearly 10 years now!) and have been mentored by some very respected names in the music industry. I have a Grade 8 in Rock&Pop Guitar from Trinity College London with Merit. I hope to mentor and inspire more students in the near future!
