About Archie
Hi, I’m Archie, a Dentistry student with a strong passion for science and education.
I offer tutoring in GCSE Science, A-Level Biology, and support for students applying to Dental School. Having successfully gone through the GCSE, A-Level, UCAT, and dental school application process myself, I understand both the academic challenges and the pressure that can come with these exams.
My aim is to create a supportive and relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence in their abilities. Whether you’re looking to improve your understanding of a difficult topic, prepare for exams, or strengthen your dental school application, I will tailor lessons to your individual needs and learning style.
As a current dental student, I use the study techniques and exam strategies that helped me succeed and continue to use throughout my degree. I focus not only on helping students achieve better grades but also on developing a genuine understanding of the subject.

I’m currently studying Dentistry at the University of Glasgow and offer tutoring in GCSE Science, A-Level Biology, as well as support for students applying to Dental School.
My lessons are tailored to each student. Everyone learns differently, so I like to spend some time understanding what a student finds difficult and then focus on those areas while building confidence in topics they’re already comfortable with. I try to make lessons interactive rather than just talking through content, encouraging students to explain concepts back to me and work through questions together.
For GCSE Science and A-Level Biology, I focus on understanding the content first and then applying it through exam-style questions and past papers. Having gone through these exams myself. I understand the common mistakes students make and the techniques that can help improve grades.
For students interested in Dentistry, I can help with, interview preparation and provide advice on the application process, including what studying dentistry is actually like. I remember how stressful the process can feel, so I aim to make it as straightforward as possible.
