About Mehru Susan
I am a person who finds immense happiness in imparting knowledge to others. I completed my pre-university in Science and then opted to travel the road not taken i.e. doing my undergrad in Japanese language, literature, and culture studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. I have also achieved the highest level of Japanese proficiency by clearing the N1 level of Japanese Language Proficiency Test. I am currently pursuing my masters in the same and aspire to become a teacher in future.

I have tried my hand at teaching Japanese in an NGO called SIOTA, based in New Delhi for almost a year and I base my class on helping the students understand the language as well as develop an admiration for the beauty and culture of Japan through learning the language. And of course as we learn about the culture of another country we become more and more fascinated about our own culture, something I learnt when I lived in Japan for a year.
