About Laura
I love teaching and creating new exciting projects and resources for students to take part in. I love to see students learn and engage in the content I am delivering.
I love to travel, explore and learn about new cultures which I bring into my teaching practice.
Throughout my teaching career, I have incorporated units and projects of work based on Sustainability to allow students the opportunity to start to consider and think about sustainability as future jobs are working towards more sustainable practices.

Overall, I have 7 years of teaching experience.
From 2018 - 2021 I worked in a Scottish Secondary school teaching BGE History and S1-S6 Geography and Modern Studies.
From 2021 - 2024, I worked at an International School in Madrid (British curriculum). Where I taught:
- Eal ages 5-16
- Geography ages 11-18
- History ages 11-18
- English ages 11-15
- Global Perspectives ages 14-16
- Primary subjects: Science, Humanities/topic, Maths and English and phonics ages 4-11.
2024 - current, I am working in an International School in Thailand. Delivering Geography and a range of Humanities and Social Sciences courses.
