About Sophia
Welcome! I’m Sophia Bennett, and I believe chemistry becomes much easier and more rewarding when students learn through supportive mentoring, practical understanding, and confidence-building learning systems. With 8 years of experience teaching chemistry to high school and early college students, I focus on helping learners strengthen analytical confidence through personalized and highly interactive coaching methods. I completed my studies at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I specialized in chemistry and applied science education. My teaching style is visual, encouraging, and highly student-focused so students feel comfortable asking questions and improving naturally step by step. I was honored with the Platinum Molecular Excellence Medal and the Scientific Insight Leadership Crown for helping students strengthen chemistry understanding and long-term academic confidence through mentorship-focused coaching systems.
