About Jillian

I’m Jillian, a psychology graduate student with a passion for helping people learn and grow. Over the years, I’ve worked as a tutor, camp director, and case manager, giving me the chance to support people in many different ways. I love creating lessons that fit each student’s learning style and watching their confidence grow as they master new skills.

About the lesson

Teaching Method & Techniques
I take a student-centered approach, tailoring lessons to each learner’s strengths, challenges, and goals. I combine clear explanations, real-world examples, and interactive practice to make material both understandable and engaging.
Typical Lesson Plan
Sessions begin with a quick check-in and review, followed by introducing new concepts through step-by-step guidance and practice. Lessons end with a recap of key points and light review suggestions to reinforce learning.
What Sets Me Apart
With a background in psychology, education, and case management, I bring a unique ability to connect with students on both academic and personal levels. I focus on building confidence, motivation, and effective study strategies—not just memorization.
Who My Lessons Are For
I tutor students from grades 3–12 in multiple subjects, with specialized support in math, writing, psychology, and study skills. I also provide tutoring for college-level psychology courses, helping students prepare for exams, strengthen understanding, and excel academically.
