Hi, this is Shuling, native Chinese and Cantonese speaker from China, speak quite well English, good at teaching grammar and speaking. 子曰（yuē)：”温故而知新 “ The learning method of "温故而知新" is one of Confucius' great contributions to China's education system. Confucius believes that by constantly studying what he has learned, he can gain new knowledge. And this very feasible method has been throughout my teaching. So my lesson is basically divided into two parts. Part 1 is to review what we have learned and part 2 is to learn something new. Part 1 - Dictation section. Not only does it help you to review what you've learned last lesson but also practices your listening skill and writing Chinese characters (Believe me, you can't build Rome in one day, start to write at the very first beginning!) Part 2 - Along with different teaching methods to learn something new at this section, including PPP (Presentation, practice and production), TTT (Test, Teach, Test), ARC (Authentic use, Restricted use, Clarification and focus) and ESA (Engage, Study, Activate) depending on the student's level and the lesson. Lastly, self-study is the main reason for your progress. I will show you how to use a Chinese dictionary and other apps to help you self-study after class and encourage you “不耻下问”-Don't be ashamed to ask any questions anytime and anywhere! I will get back to you ASAP. And of course, I am more than happy to enrich your multi-cultural knowledge by sharing cultural differences between Chinese and Cantonese. You've got a long way to go, but I'll help you find a way to enjoy the process. Cheers!

Perfect! Shuling is an excellent tutor!
In my case, she has put a lot of work into extending the standard text book and developing activities and materials to help me reach my specific goals.
She gives excellent feedback, which has really helped improve my pronunciation and to correct bad habits.

Perfect! Shuling is an experienced teacher who can speak Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. Even if her mother tongue is Cantonese, she can speak Mandarin and English fluently. The first thing I realized on her is she doesn't have any accent while she is speaking English. I can definitely suggest taking a class from her. She is committed to her job and makes you learn faster.
