About Lianne
I am 25 years of age and have been qualified as a Primary School Teacher for 3 years, achieving my dream. I am kind, considerate, hard working and have yours and your children's best interests at heart.
During my studies I have I have been placed on numerous voluntary placements where I have gained 10 years teaching experience with ages up to 11. I am employed as a Primary School Teacher in a small outstanding school, where I completed my NQT year. I then took Maternity Leave, to look after my baby boy. Since returning to part-time teaching I am interested in topping up my hours with dedicated 1:1 tutoring mainly online.
I am aware that safeguarding children is very important and child protection is a major issue in supporting children’s safety. I have been involved in a variety of informative discussions and participated in formal training on the issues.
As well as the placements and voluntary work I have done in schools and nurseries I have also volunteered in a dance group, where I attend helping children aged 3-9 years. This has been ongoing one day a week since 2007. I also help in a local drama group where I have been a member since the age of eight years, putting on performances and supporting children ages 8-18 years with their enjoyment of the group. I would be very interested in continuing the love of drama within tutoring and I am confident to teach theatrical dance and support stage presents up to the age of 16. I have helped lead sessions which run one night per week. In 2010 I was nominated as the Adult Youth Representative. In this role I have dealt with issues within the youth group, working together with other members to get these resolved. Throughout all these experiences and challenges I have learnt team work and social skills that can be transferable in all situations. I am self-motivated and have good time management, I have shown this both in university, where I have deadlines to meet and in my part time job, as a waitress, where I have to ensure all jobs are completed in good time within our team.

Through recent training it has become clear that an aspect of visual, auditory and kinaesthetic learning should be available in every lesson. This enables children to access the work and be supported through equal opportunities.
I enjoy working to meet the child's needs and therefore offer a discounted trial lesson first so I can get to understand their needs and current attainment and where their targets are set. I will also discuss and set out the best route I feel I can take to ensure they achieve their own expectations.
