About Faustina
Hi! I’m a fresh SPM graduate with several years of experience teaching English to students from Standard 1 to Form 5(SPM). I started tutoring back in Form 3, and since then, I’ve helped many students improve their English overall. Seeing my students grow and gain confidence in the subject is what I enjoy most about teaching. Because I’m closer in age to my students, they often feel more comfortable asking questions, discussing ideas, and practicing their speaking skills with me. This makes lessons feel relaxed and friendly, while still keeping a focus on learning and achieving results. I design personalized lessons based on each student’s level and learning style. My approach includes teaching new concepts, practicing through homework and quizzes, reviewing progress, and applying skills to exam-style questions. Each month’s lessons are carefully structured to help students understand, retain, and confidently use English both in school and in everyday situations. I am patient, organized, and committed to helping every student reach their full potential. My goal is to make learning English enjoyable, meaningful, and effective, so students can feel confident and succeed academically.

1) My Tutoring Approach & Teaching Methodology
I begin by assessing each student’s current English level, strengths, and areas that need improvement. Based on this, I design personalised lessons that suit the student’s learning style and pace. My teaching focuses on building a strong foundation in grammar, vocabulary, essay writing, and speaking, while also improving confidence and exam readiness.
Lessons are structured and consistent. Each month consists of four classes, with each lesson lasting 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the student’s attention span and learning needs.
- Lesson 1: Concept teaching and explanation of new topics
- Lesson 2: Active recall practice and assigned homework
- Lesson 3: Homework review, corrections, and a short quiz to reinforce understanding
- Lesson 4: Exam-style questions, timed practice, and active recall revision
This method helps students understand concepts deeply, remember them long-term, and apply them confidently in exams.
2) Qualifications & Experience
I am a fresh SPM graduate with 2 years of tutoring experience. I have been teaching students since Form 3, and many of my students have shown significant improvement in their English results, especially in grammar, writing, and comprehension. I am patient, organized, and committed to helping students progress steadily.
