Dedicated Chemistry , Physics and maths tutor - Maths tutor with Deepika

Deepika volunteered for the this site/UCL Chemistry Day 2018 aimed at A-Level students. Her range of duties on the day consisted of tutoring small groups of students during the Chemistry workshop and supporting the practical exercise in the laboratory.

Deepika was punctual, demonstrated patience and engaged learners throughout the workshops and lab sessions. We were very happy that Deepika was able to help out on the day.

During the summer I received tuition from this tutor, and let me tell you this, you do not want to overlook her.
When she came to lessons, she came across as very amicable so we could easily ask her any question we had about her lessons or even the subject in general.
She was very organised and efficient; she came to lessons with the topics to be discussed and notes on it prepared and ready for us, along with practical tasks to demonstrate the topics.
Most of all she was one of the most adaptable tutors I've come across. She can easily offer alternative explanations which are simpler and easily understood when initially asked.
And this is just the tip of the iceberg when t come to her.

I can comfortably say that my summer holiday wasn't wasted. She has the desired qualities that any student would like from a teacher; she has a friendly personality,is well prepared and has the patience and understanding creating a nice learning environment. When she taught me over the holidays, she had worksheets, whiteboards and questions making it and interactive session.

Deepika Raghavan has been an amazing tutor in all the sessions I have had with her during the summer. She is very enthusiastic whilst tutoring and clearly very passionate about Chemistry. It shows that she fully understands what she teaches. In addition, she is able to explain things in detail to help students understand the points she is trying to put across. Apart from her passion in Chemistry and her good communication skills, she is also very friendly; this allows students to be comfortable around her and makes them feel free to ask questions as well as request her to repeat and explain stuff that they do not understand.

Taught me A-Level Chemistry.

I have found Deepika to be an extraordinary tutor, dependable at all times and skilled and scholarly in equal measure. Deepika's gleeful enthusiasm spilled into her teaching; her achievement of making isomerism structures seem interesting and understandable merits great praise. I highly recommend Deepika as a tutor as her vibrant lessons fulfilled my otherwise monotonous summer.
