About Sam
I am a comedy junkie and love to make people laugh. Having said that, don't let my nonchalant and goofy aattitude fool you. I expect hard work through research and more importantly I expect you to step out of your comfort zone. I will not tolerate non participation for lack of self esteem or shyness. This is acting and performing. There's a stage calling your name and you should be ready to do anything to get on it.

Each session will start by studying a popular comic or actor. We will disect their techniques with regards to material, timing and delivery. Next we will have you write some material that is characteristic of the person at hand. Once you have fully understood these techniques you will begin to draft a segment for your final project. Homework will consist of watching movies an stand up comedy acts. Warning! Some of the material in these movies and stage acts can be quite inappropriate. If you don't have thick skin and a good sense of humor this class is not for you.
