About Ethan
I am a junior Biology major with a Minor in Chemistry at Lee University, a private university in Cleveland, TN. I am particularly proficient in the areas of genetics, taxonomy, ecology, and molecular biology. I am a member of multiple prestigious groups at my University including the McNair Scholars Program which has allowed me the chance to participate in and publish research! My goal post-grad is to pursue a Ph.D. in either evolutionary biology or genetics.

My lessons will be conversational. I have experience as a teaching assistant in freshman and sophomore biology classes. Through this, I have found that discussing areas of struggle with students prior to our tutoring sessions allows me to create an open but focused lesson plan to further students’ understanding of the material.
