About Sofiya
I have an undergraduate degree in Biomedicine in University of Melbourne. Currently a second year medical student at Deakin University. I have a 4 year experience of helping students of all ages with biology VCE, IB and homework preparation. I find a personalized teaching method for everybody and adapt to their study plan. I have prepared students successfully for tests and their school exams.

In the classroom, I use presentations and basic notes, using questions from the open bank. I make my subject understandable to any student. In the classroom, I try to create a serious but friendly atmosphere, I always take into account the individuality of the students and believe in their capabilities. That is why I love tutoring - because I connect to the people I tutor and we a having a great time while learning and filling the gaps in the knowledge! First I like to explain the topic. I do that by drawing on Paint on my laptop and showing student pictures and diagrams to facilitate learning. Then I ask a student to make a summary of what I have taught and then I see what the student missed and which gaps we need to fill. At the start of every class, I will have a quick revision of the previous topic or make a quiz for homework or in class.
