David was an excellent undergraduate student, widely read and with a superb analytical eye. His undergraduate dissertation, on the life, times and context of the Augustan Roman poet, Ovid, justly earned him an A. He took a wide range of modules, undertaking quality research in a number of fields, including Christo-Islamic relations, from the Reformation period through to the present day. In 2017 he became Political Editor of HeyMillennials.co.uk, an excellent outlet for his exceptional writing skills. He was a dedicated, honest, and hard working student. I look forward to seeing him go from strength to strength.
