About Janeen
Java coding, Git version control, and backend API fundamentals form the core of my technical toolkit. With 13 years of coding experience, I have developed a practical understanding of how to approach programming challenges and build clean, maintainable solutions.
Over the years, I realized that helping beginners solve programming problems was far more rewarding than debugging corporate legacy software. I understand the challenges career switchers face when learning clean coding practices and adapting to a new technical field.
With a Master of Science from the University of British Columbia, I bring both academic depth and industry experience to my teaching. I focus on making complex data structures, Java concepts, Git workflows, and backend fundamentals easier to understand for students entering the Canadian tech industry.
