About Maya
I am a 28 year old data analyst at UCLA with a passion for teaching and working with students. As a master's student, I TA'ed every quarter undergraduate classes in statistical concepts, that also included learning computer languages. In my undergraduate career at UC Berkeley, I spent my free time tutoring middle school students in all subjects. As a data analyst I spend most of my day in front of my computer, but I miss the one-on-one experience of teaching and connecting with students.

I am a very patient and kind teacher. I believe every student has the ability to excel and therefore my methods are very student-centered and not one-size-fits-all.
