About Danny
Hi! I`m Danny, I`m a fully qualified Maths teacher based in Leeds. I completed the Teach First programme and obtained QTS, completing my induction year as well as my PGDE in 2020. I have classroom experience teaching KS3 and GCSE, both Higher and Foundation, and to all ability levels ranging across KS3 and KS4 including SEND students. I have also taught Further Maths and have tutored a number of students at GCSE. I have lots of resources and can employ a variety of modern teaching methods to help you learn. I am a patient and enthusiastic coach who is determined to help you achieve the best possible outcome you can, whether that`s passing a particular set of exams, moving up a set or simply improving your confidence in Maths. I`m currently working as an accountant, and I`m really looking forward to getting back to my passion for tutoring Maths!

I am an experienced Maths teacher having worked with students of a wide variety of ability levels. My preferred approach is to build up from the basics and make sure you have a solid grasp and understanding of the key principles and why things work before moving onto applying the material. I make this fun and engaging through using plenty of real life examples and applications. We will work through step by step exercises of key skills, starting with the more commonly tested questions before delving into more complex skills and problem-solving, which is increasingly critical to most standardised exams in the UK. To be able to problem-solve with the hardest topics you need a solid understanding and have reinforced knowledge of the basic skills through sufficient practice. I will help you gain confidence along each step of the way through a variety of topics and also explore the inter-linkages between topics to help you prepare in the best way possible for future exams or assessments.
