About Thea
I have an undergraduate in digital design, but I’ve always loved teaching and helping others learn. I tutor elementary and middle school students in math, English, and Danish in Denmark, and I focus on making lessons fun, engaging, and easy to understand. I adapt to each student’s learning style, ensuring they feel confident and comfortable asking questions. Outside of teaching, I have a big interest in sports - I’ve played both football (soccer) and handball and love the teamwork and strategy involved. I bring that same energy into my teaching, encouraging students to stay motivated and enjoy the learning process. My goal is to create a positive space where students feel supported and excited to learn.

Who am I? I focus on an interactive and student-centered approach, ensuring that learners actively engage with the material rather than just passively receiving information. My methods include encouraging critical thinking, using real-world examples, adjusting lessons based on the student’s background, learning pace, and specific needs, and guiding students towards finding their own solutions. What sets me apart as a tutor: I make the teaching engaging and accessible by breaking down concepts into simple, understandable steps. I'm quite good at adapting to each student’s level and learning style, ensuring they feel confident. I generally try to make learning fun and a space where asking questions is not frowned upon. Who are my lessons for: Elementary and middle school students who need help with math, English, or Danish at their grade level. Students who may struggle and need extra support. Students who are looking to improve skills like reading, writing, and math abilities.
