I have trained under teachers from the Joffrey Ballet, Hubbard Street Dance, MADD Rhythms, South Chicago Dance Theater, Giordano Dance Chicago, Akram Khan, Fly Honeys, and more.
I am a lifelong dance performer, recently featured in works at the University of Chicago and the Logan Performing Arts Center in Chicago. I have performed in ballets such as Romeo and Juliet (Helena), Don Quixote (Sancho Panza), Sleeping Beauty (Puss-in-Boots), Giselle (corps de ballet), Peter and the Wolf (Peter), and The Nutcracker (Candy Cane, Hot Chocolate).

Dance can be intimidating, but it doesn't have to be! I would be a great teacher for a beginner or intermediate dancer looking for positive, enthusiastic encouragement and a healthy outlook on the human body. I approach dance as a somatic (i.e. "in your body") practice that can serve as physical fitness and mental health training. Rather than judging externalities, I encourage students to get in touch with how their body feels while dancing, so you look AND feel good. I grew up as a dancer in a family of dancers, so I bring both a Professional and an amateur's perspective to the table, as well as a lifetime's worth of exposure to myriad techniques and practices. More than that, I LOVE to dance, and I think that there is a dancer in everyone -- let me help you unlock yours!
