About Chelsea
I am a high school student myself. I’ve done all the all-state auditions, I’ve been through all the levels of choir. Although I specify in improving choral sight reading, I can help with anything involving chorus. I am a soprano 1 in one choir I’m in as well as an alto 2 in the other, I’m very involved and know a lot about chorus I’ve been in it since elementary school.

I started as an average choir student and gradually transformed. I believe that anyone can reach their goals with the right teaching and a lot of practice. My teaching will hopefully take you to a level where you are a leader in any singing activities you partake in and can make prestigious programs that seem impossible. My teaching methods will consist of practicing sight reading examples as that is the basis of excelling in choir. I will also teach you how to read basic key signatures and tackle compromising time signatures. A typical lesson plan will consist of gradually building your sight reading knowledge where it is repetitive to ensure consistency. What sets me apart from other tutors is that I am not naturally like this. I had to figure these things out on my own and I was not born magically with perfect pitch. I know exactly the most imperative steps to take to ensure that you’re genuinely learning and improving. Most tutors have been playing piano or taking music theory since they were in the womb this newfound skill of mine took hard work and understanding. These lessons are for choir students trying to seek enrichment in their subject.
