About Mark
I am a dedicated and professional math tutor who is committed to helping students achieve real, measurable improvement in both their understanding and confidence. I take pride in delivering well-structured, high-quality lessons that are tailored to each student’s individual needs, ensuring that every session is both productive and engaging.
With a strong academic background in mathematics and experience working with students across Years 1–10, I understand the common challenges students face and how to address them effectively. Typical Lesson Structure & Length
Lessons typically run for 60 minutes, which allows enough time for explanation, practice, and review. A standard lesson includes:
Quick review of previous material (5–10 minutes)
Introduction of new concepts (15–20 minutes)
Guided practice (20–25 minutes)
Independent practice and feedback (10–15 minutes)
Longer sessions (e.g., 90 minutes) can be arranged for exam preparation or intensive revision.
