About Mathilde
I'm currently studying Neuroscience, Psychology and Social Anthropology at the University of St Andrews. I grew up in Paris but have an English mum, hence why I'm fully fluent in both French and English. In high school, I specialised in Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics and took a few Maths and Biology modules in university. I received an A* on my IGCSE English Literature and English Language. On my French Baccalaureate exams, I received an overall average mark of 18.2, with a 19 in Maths, 18 in Physics-Chemistry, 20 on my spoken French exam and 19 on my written French Literature exam (all out of 20). In my free time, I love reading and playing tennis. I also am the President of Anthropology Society at the University of St Andrews. I always had to work for my marks as I often struggled to understand lessons at school, and I know how hard and demoralising this can be. I hope I can help other students not feel this way.

Having studied both French and English at high levels throughout school, I understand many of the challenges and struggles that other students may face, especially with spoken exams can be extremely stressful and I take pride in creating a comfortable and empathetic environment which is judgement free and adapted to whatever your specific needs are, not a generalised method.
