About Steven
As a 20 year old, 3rd year uni student in physics and engineering, I’ve always found a lot of passion in every STEM field since I was a kid. I’ve always been curious about how nature truly works and how humans developed the technologies we have today. For this reason, I like learning new skills and topics (even those not in the STEM fields).
I used to play a lot of video games as a hobby but due to time constraints I now end up tinkering with electronics in my spare time.

As I’ve always been passionate about maths and science, my approach to learning is heavily focused on understanding, problem solving and creativity rather than rote memorization. In addition to solidifying the core concepts and ideas of a topic, this way of learning encourages one to think logically and laterally so that one can apply the ideas they have learnt to many different situations.
In tutoring maths and physics, I will aim to not only provide my students with an understanding of the topics they need to learn (so that they can appreciate where and how these ideas came about) but also the general problem solving approaches used to solve maths and physics problems while keeping it relevant to their school/uni curriculum.
